Thai proverb = Sămniang sòr phaasăh, kìríyaa sòr sàkun

There is a Thai saying: “Sămniang sòr phaasăh, krìyaa sòr sàkun” (Directly translate = An accent implies a language, a manner implies a lineage.”

The equivalent English one would be: “A tree is known by its fruit.”

Let’s see if anyone can understand this: “Sămniang sòr phaasăh, krìyaa yòo lăng pràthaan”. I nearly fell off my chair.
